Holds Doctorate in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, presently working as a specialist in KAMC, Riyadh. Worked in King Saud University, Riyadh for 18 years. He also completed MRSC from UK.

A multi-talented personality, who served as a referee for reviewing various manuscripts for publications, had even extended his service as an expert in various selection committees for selecting senior teachers. He has also been a member of the Editorial Boards of scientific journals. Being the Country Winner in Toast Master Speech Competition held at ARAMCO, Dammam, in 2003. Dr. Dilshad Ahmad had received trophy from Dr. Khalid Al Maeena. He was the first elected General Secretary of Association of Indian Researchers and Scientists (AIRS), which organizes lectures, seminars, symposia and exhibitions on topics of general interest. He was also elected General Secretary of AMU Research Scholar Association, Aligarh in 1992. Currently a member of Nano Science and Technology Consortium (NSTC), Uttar Pradesh.

Published numerous research articles in various National and International reputed Journals. Visited Japan, Australia, Hongkong, UAE, Bahrain to attend conferences  and workshops. A philanthropist and social worker with profound leadership qualities. Has been working for Social and Community Welfare Activities Since 1985.
