IISR/Cir/IMT/01 12th May 2009 CIRCULAR
Dear Parents,
As we have gem of luminaries as members of the management committee, of whom each one has visionary capabilities in various matters, there will not be dearth of guidance and foresightedness accompanied by mutual cooperation. On behalf of each one of them I would like to reveal our future commitments in a nutshell, to ameliorate the already progressing academic activities in IISR.
We are proud to emphasis that since the inception of the present committee, the academic , disciplinary, admin, sports and overall standard of the school has gained a remarkable degree of progress, under the guidance of the academic team skippered by Mr. M.J. Siddiqui the Principal & H.O.I and Mrs. Zeenath Jafri the principal in-charge Girls.
As there is no boundaries set for the level of progress, it will be improper to stay stagnated on the progress already achieved instead we shall continue our Endeavour with what little resources we have in hand.
Academic Excellence:- The sole purpose of the schooling is to achieve the highest standard of academic activity. The committee will explore the possibilities to achieve this excellence keeping liaison with the Department heads. If essential, extra coaching may be conducted for the weaker students through campus coaching. If the method of teaching has to be reviewed or if the facilities of teaching are not adequate the same will be introduced without hesitation especially to those who are going to face the CBSE examinations, so that higher level of result could be yielded. Seminars and symposiums in each subject will be conducted to sharpen the knowledge of the students. Discipline being the unavoidable chunk of this, we earnestly hope that the needful will be initiated to revamp the standard of discipline.
School Computer Automation:- Our foremost aim in the list is to charter a new course for higher level of performance in handling Academic & Admin activities. Monitoring the activities of the students regularly by their parents will play a vital role in the above. This new generation is our promise, our ray of hope of tomorrow, whose exemplary overall standard should be arrived at, by our reciprocal understanding and team work. IT and computerization being integral chip of our modern life, all possible steps will be adopted to develop the existing considerable facilities extended to the students in both Girls’ & Boys’ Schools. It may be recalled that in advent of the present committee, IT was accorded great impetuous by establishing computer labs in each section with modern facilities. What is more, a separate department itself was originated which is running in superlative trend. Without resting on the standard already gained we shall wholeheartedly Endeavour further to ensure that computerization reaches its maximum possible level. Dynamic Website with individual password to evaluate your ward “on line” will be implemented for the following. Teachers’ Evaluation:- By teaching alone, the expected objective could not be secured. Always the teachers should ensure that their arrows have hit the target they intended and it is for this purpose the teachers need to evaluate the standard of assimilation so that accordingly the alternative steps could be adopted by them.
Parents Evaluation:- It is nowhere but at home where the child spends his time after the school hours. The parents being part and parcel of their children’s educational venture, should check the assimilation level of their ward at home and accordingly they also should take suitable steps for better positive assimilation.
Student Evaluation:- A self assessment of one’s learning capacity, the level of assimilation possessed by self, the extend of devotion initiated by him, should be assessed by each student. By this self assessment he/she can adopt suitable steps to improve oneself to achieve the goal. An Idle mind is devil’s workshop. A student should be active in his academic activities throughout his academic venture.
Frequent Parents/MC Meetings:- This sort of meeting will enable the MC to maintain close rapport with the parents. The parents can discuss their problems they face, in admin, academic and other problems with the MC and a positive solution could be arrived at.
Frequent Teacher/MC Meetings:- Teachers being the feeding bowels of knowledge, they are aware of the existing facilities, problems encountered by them, the standard of discipline of the children, the dire necessities and requirement essential for the well being of teaching, enhancing the standard of education amongst the students and achieving the overall target of excellent results and discipline. If a close rapport is maintained between the teachers and the MC, day to day problems faced by the teachers in line of teaching could be transpired to the MC Members, who can solve the same keeping liaison with the Principal.
Modernization of Library:- It goes without saying that Library is the fountain head of knowledge of the institution and being so, it will not go undeveloped by us. The Committee will leave no stones unturned to augment the standard of library, at least with 50,000 new books, which could instill valuable information and knowledge in students and make worthy generation. Besides the above, facilities will also be further improved so that more children can access the library for reading. Educational Training CDs, Electronic Books, CD, DVD, Computer with internet access, projector etc., will be made available.
Sports Coaching Centre:- If you look back to the achievements that our students gained after the present committee’s accession, you will not hesitate to admire the efforts taken by it, for uplifting the standard of sports and as a result, the laurels fetched by our students have been commendable. We will strain every nerve to secure the apex level of standard in sports by our students through establishing a coaching centre for molding better sportsmen, so that the foremost distinction could be acquired by our children in the arena of sports. Like how the cricket academy has been established, similar academies will be established for Tennis, Badminton, Foot Ball etc. Karate, Yoga coaching also to be considered.
Transport Section:- As regards the transport facilities , the present system of hiring SAPTCO buses, on being the existing number of School buses are insufficient, we shall certainly explore the possibilities to buy some more buses to strengthen the transport fleet to a better level., so that more students could avail the facility of transportation. The waiting listed commuters will be given chance to avail the school transport facilities, the security of the students also could be assured if this is realized.
Finance Finance was the ever time bottleneck of IISR, which slow down the pace of modernization. Unlike other Indian schools in the Kingdom, our school has the huge burden of building rent. However, the Managing Committee at its inception had prioritized the improvement of its finance domain in a professional manner. The Finance Subcommittee had focused on identifying the area of over-expenditure and applied “cost reduction” techniques. As a result we could achieve a magical transition in the Cash Reserve.
Public Relation:- The unfounded and baseless rumours spoil the name of our school. Therefore it will be better if we refrain from the same. a public relation officer will be appointed and the problems will be solved through the following means:- - SMS Communication - Group Email Communication - Helpline The parents being the most supporting pillars of the school, no calls, queries, doubts, suggestions of them will go unattended or ignored. To maintain a harmonious relation between the School and the parents, a helpdesk will be established to support the parents, the issues can be rectified at [email protected] , the same will be responded to, without any excuses within a week. Due attention shall definitely be accorded to every query. Dear Parents, absolutely not for a zest of glory, but for satisfying the urge in us to serve our community, that we undertake this noble service. To accomplish this, we look forward to your ever available support and cooperation keeping in view of the betterment of our children, in whom we see a better tomorrow for our India.
