CIRCULAR

Dear Parents,

This has reference to our previous circular dated 10th October, 2009 regarding Swine Flu precaution. As per the guideline from Ministry of Health to prevent Children from the virus H1N1, the School Managing Committee has already taken all steps regarding clean and healthy atmosphere in the School. The liquid soap dispensers are available in all toilets and we have also arranged for thermo temperature meter to Medical rooms and sanitizers to medical and all staff rooms. Isolation room has been created so that if any child is suffering from fever, common cold may be kept isolated from the class room.

All the class teachers are checking the students in the morning with regard to their health and if anybody is found with fever or cold they will be sent immediately to the medical room and their parents are called to collect their children. As per the instructions issued from King Saud Medical complex, Children’s Hospital, Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division, children with the following conditions are at high risks.

- Severe pulmonary/cardiac disease
- Chronic renal/liver/neurological disorders
- Immunodeficiency (malignancy on chemo-therapy, HIV, etc)

As a precautionary measure, we request the parents not to send your ward to the school if the children is having Fever, Headache, Cough, Soar Throat, Runny & Stuffy Nose, Extreme Fatigue, & Muscle Ache, or symptom of Influenza. Incase the child is found to have any of these symptoms parents will be asked to collect their children immediately.
