CIRCULAR (KG - XII)

Dear Parents,

It is informed that the Managing Committee of the Indian International School, Riyadh is completing its tenure in December, 2010 and the process of nomination of new Managing Committee has been initiated. Ambassador of India and the Patron of International Indian Schools, has desired that the parents interested to serve as member of the Managing Committee of IISR may submit their nomination forms to Principal, IISR, along with their Curriculum Vitae.

The qualifications required for being a Managing Committee member as per the Charter of International Indian Schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are as follows:

The candidate/member:

  1. Shall be one of the members of the community for which the School is licensed.
  2. Shall be a parent of regular student(s) studying in the School for at least one year as per School record and that his child/children should not be in the final class of the School.
  3. Shall be a holder of a University degree. The degree shall be legalized and attested by the competent authority in his country of origin.
  4. Shall be assuming a position qualifies him to participate effectively in the Management Council (According to Chapter II(2) (i) of the Chapter of Indian International Schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the candidate “Must produce salary certificate issued by his employer attested by the Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, clearly  stating that this monthly basic salary is not less than SR.5000/-).
  5. He must be a citizen of India, who could devote sufficient time for the welfare of the School.
  6. The candidate shall undertake to perform the functions and duties assigned to him by the Management Council. He shall present to the council a concept of his plans to develop the educational, financial and administrative work in the School.
  7. Shall present a written certificate of his Embassy confirming that he is not a diplomat and that he has a good conduct and character.
  8. Shall present a No Objection Certificate from his sponsor duly attested by the Chamber of Commerce to certify that the sponsor have no objection to be a member of the council and attend the meeting of the management council.
  9. Shall not be a staff of the School or spouse of the staff/a relative of the school staff.
  10. Shall not be a member of the management council of any other school.
  11. Has not been dismissed from the membership of the management council before.
  12. Is not a defaulter of tuition fees and incurs no financial liability against the school.
  13. Should work and have residence in the city where the school is situated.
  14. Should be holding a valid Residence Permit.
  15. Must produce a character certificate issued by the Embassy of Riyadh.
  16. Must submit a reference of two responsible Indian nationals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who will stand guarantee for him in connection with his conduct and financial soundness.
  17. He should submit a brief note not exceeding 100 words in which he should propose the manner in which he plans to ensure better education to the children of Indian community and the academic progress of the School during his tenure of membership is selected.

 

The nomination forms, along with the relevant enclosures, may be submitted to the undersigned, positively by Tuesday, the 19th October, 2010.
